The Belly Dancer •Oil on canvas • 24 × 48 inches
Zara was the greatest Raqassa the world has ever known. Every one of her Rubenesque folds were pure, magnetic grace. Zara’s ethereal curvaceousness conjured an infinite flowing resource of sublime abundance. A heavy hush fell when Zara took the stage. Her presence assumed total control of the universe. Her Egyptian shimmers were the ripples of the boundless desert sands. Her hip drop, an emotional sensation that resonated with a deep, thunderous pulse, would vibrate through your loins. Sometimes Zara locked eyes with an unsuspecting soul and began mesmerizing pelvic undulations, smooth as silk and breathtakingly powerful. The intense aesthetic euphoria was often too much for one’s heart to bear. By the final crescendo, many collapsed in absolute ecstasy, utterly consumed.
